The City of Paducah is currently accepting applications for the Roof Stabilization Assistance Program, which provides funds for the repair and replacement of roofs in the historic downtown area.

The program assists property owners within a defined area of historic downtown Paducah, which generally stretches from Water Street to Clarence Gaines Street and from Jefferson Street to Kentucky Avenue.

In order to qualify for assistance, applicants must submit a completed application, as well as three bids from the list of qualified contractors, current photographs, and proof of financial ability from a qualified financial institution.

Grants will cover no more than half of a project's roof stabilization costs or half of total funds allocated.

Applications are being accepted until 4 pm on August 24.

You can find more information about the program at the link below.
