Due to routine grinding of brush, the City of Paducah Compost Facility located at 1560 North 8th Street will be closed to the public during the weekdays until further notice starting today, June 17.  It will be open on Saturdays for the purchase of compost and for residents to drop off brush, leaves, and yard debris.  The Facility has compost available for purchase by the bucket load.  An approximately two yard bucket load of compost costs $20.

The Facility is operated by the City of Paducah Engineering-Public Works Department.  The regular operating schedule for the Compost Facility, when it is not closed for routine grinding, is Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.  It is closed on Sunday.
