A La Center woman was hurt Monday morning in a crash on US 60.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded shortly before 9 a.m. to a crash at the intersection of US 60 and Kelley road. The investigation reportedly showed 59-year-old David Mansfield was driving south on Kelly Road, when he attempted to cross US 60 and failed to yield the right of way to an eastbound vehicle, driven by 56-year-old Mary Davis. His vehicle hit the the side of Davis' pickup, causing it to overturn.

Deputies said Mansfield told them a car traveling in the passing lane must have blocked his view of the vehicle as he pulled into traffic.

Mansfield refused treatment at the scene. Davis was treated and taken to Baptist Health for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
