The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says it has received additional evidence about the possible suspect in an arson investigation.

The suspicious fire occurred at a residence in the 3100 block of Estes Lane late Saturday night.

While battling the fire, firefighters reported the strong odor of gasoline coming from unburnt portions of the home. Deputies say that after an investigation, the fire was ruled as arson.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says it has received evidence that an unknown suspect riding a bicycle may be responsible for the arson. Detectives continue to seek any information that will help to identify the person responsible for starting the fire.
