A former McCracken County official who was sentenced to prison on forgery and theft charges has been identified as the subject of a new criminal investigation.

Trooper Bryan Luckett with the Kentucky State Police confirmed Wednesday morning that there is an open criminal investigation involving former McCracken County Property Valuation Administrator Nancy Bock, but couldn't share any details about the case.

"They're just looking into other complaints I guess some people have come forward with." Luckett said.

Bock pleaded guilty in April to seven counts of forgery and one count of theft. She resigned last September before being indicted. Her charges in that case stemmed from forged travel vouchers and use of a state credit card for personal purchases. She was sentenced in July to four years in prison.
