Former Paducah Tilghman football coach Dan Haley died Saturday morning. He was 73. Haley coached Tilghman to the 1973 Class 2A title over Boyd County.

Haley also coached at Bowling Green High School where he led them to the 1995 3A state title over Fort Thomas Highlands. Haley was also offensive coordinator at Morehead State University, head coach at Cumberland University and served on Jack Harbaugh's staff at Western Kentucky University.

Haley finished with an overall record of 253-79-3 in the high school ranks. He was inducted into the KHSAA Hall of Fame in 2007.
