According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, in early 2019 detectives were contacted by the ATF in regards to 24-year-old Cole R. Glover of Graves County after Glover attempted to purchase a firearm at a McCracken County business.
At the time of the attempted purchase Glover was involved in an active Kentucky Domestic Violence Order, and was also prohibited from purchasing a firearm due to an arrest from 2018 for possession of a controlled substance.
Glover allegedly lied to the business about his criminal record and the domestic violence order, however Glover was denied purchase of the gun after the background check.
On Tuesday, Glover was located at the Graves County Jail and charged with one count of fraudulent firearms transaction.
Officers say they expect additional charges to be filed.
