A judge has sentenced a man to more than two decades behind bars in a deadly January shooting.

Court records show Circuit Judge Timothy Langford sentenced 47-year-old Orlundo Holloway on Thursday to 22 years in prison for the shooting death of 42-year-old David Mackins. Holloway was arrested Jan. 27 on a murder charge in the case, after police found Mackins at a Hickman apartment complex with a gunshot wound to the head. Holloway pleaded guilty in September to a lesser manslaughter charge.

Langford sentenced Holloway to 20 years for the manslaughter charge, and two years for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Holloway must also pay $5,000 in restitution to Mackins' family.
