Husband Road Closure Next Week For Repairs

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 1954/Husband Road in southern McCracken County starting Monday, June 10.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the road will be closed just north of the Kentucky 348/Hardmoney Road intersection to allow the bridge over Bottom Ditch to be replaced. The target completion date is November 1. There will be a marked detour.

This project is part of the Bridging Kentucky Program which aims to replace or rehabilitate about 1,000 critical bridges during a 6 year period.  For more information go to www.bridgingkentucky.com.
