UPDATE: The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says both lanes have reopened to traffic.

A collision at the eastbound entry ramp to I-24 near Exit 4 has shut down both eastbound lanes of the interstate.

Injuries have been reported, and one of the vehicles has reportedly rolled over. Officials have halted all eastbound traffic at the site of the crash.

Drivers coming from Illinois are being encouraged to detour using Cairo Road (KY 305) to the downtown business loop, where they can find their way back to the Interstate at Exit 7 (Lone Oak Road) or Exit 11 (Husband Road).

This is the second crash today in the same area. Officials had closed one lane of traffic shortly before 11:00 am after an accident involving a semi.
