A westbound work zone will bring lane and width restrictions to a 2-mile section of Interstate 24 at Paducah starting June 1.

The work zone will extend through the U.S. 60 Exit 4 interchange to just past the KY 305 Paducah Exit 3.

The work zone is to allow bridge deck work on both overpasses, and the Perkins Creek Bridge.

Truckers should be aware that the work zone will include a 13 ft. maximum load width restriction.

A 55-mile-per-hour speed limit will include double fines for citations.

Once the work is done on the driving lane, work will move to the passing lane. When the westbound work is completed, the contractor will move to the eastbound lanes along the same section.
