The McCracken County Sheriff's Office got a call on Friday from a woman who said her three young children ran into her room, saying that a stranger was breaking into the home. The woman confronted the burglar and he fled the scene towards a neighbor's home.
Deputies located the man and identified him as Randy L. Bradley Jr.
Bradley's face was reportedly bleeding, and deputies said he had glass shards sticking out of his head. Deputies believe Bradley rammed his head through a glass door in an attempt to gain entry into the home.
Bradley was charged with second degree burglary, second degree attempted burglary, first degree criminal mischief, and public intoxication.
Bradley was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail after being medically cleared by the hospital.
