Jackson Street Gas Line Work Begins Wednesday

A contractor for Atmos Energy plans a work zone lane restriction along a section of U.S. 60/Jackson Street in Paducah on Wednesday & Thursday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the work zone along U.S. 60/Jackson Street between South 21st Street and South 24th Street in Paducah, near the Dollar General Store, is to allow Atmos Energy to do repair work.

The work zone is expected to be active starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday and remain up through the day on Thursday. Some work in this area could continue into Friday, if required.

Drivers should be alert for message boards and/or arrow boards providing lane configuration information as they approach this work zone along the rear of Paducah Tilghman High School.
