Joshi Sentenced in Sexual Misconduct Case

A judge has sentenced a former McCracken County High School student charged with sexual misconduct and tampering with evidence.

Court records show Princekumar Joshi was sentenced Thursday in McCracken County Circuit Court to two years in prison. Joshi entered an Alford plea in January to a sexual misconduct charge. He also pleaded guilty to a tampering with evidence charge.

The tampering with evidence charge carries a two year sentence. He was sentenced to six months for the sexual misconduct charge. The charges will run concurrently.

As part of the plea deal, Joshi will not be required to register as a sex offender.
