La Center Man Charged with DUI, Meth Possession

A La Center man was arrested Thursday on DUI and drug charges.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies stopped a vehicle Thursday afternoon for disregarding a traffic light. Deputies arrested the driver, 54-year-old Stephen Fields on a DUI charge.

A search of the vehicle revealed a glass smoking pipe with methamphetamine.

Fields was additionally charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the McCracken County Jail.
