The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said the collision happened around 6:30 am at the intersection of US 62 and US 68 in Reidland. Deputies said a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Paulette Bearden of Calvert City was traveling west on US 62 and attempting to make a left turn.
According to police, Bearden turned into the path of an eastbound vehicle driven by 45-year-old Robert Harned of Ledbetter. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Harned was transported by ambulance to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The intersection was partially blocked for approximately one hour for cleanup and investigation.
