Bechtold comes to Lourdes from Baptist Health Paducah where she most recently served as the Baptist Health West Region Clinical Informatics Director. In previous roles, she also served as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Outpatient Center and the Center for Digestive Health.
Bechtold is licensed by the Kentucky Board of Nursing and the Kentucky Board of Nursing Home Administrators. She is also a member of the Kentucky Organization of Nurse Leaders and the Kentucky Hospital Association and holds a master’s degree in both Nursing and Healthcare Administration.
Her primary responsibilities include development and execution of network-wide quality and performance improvement. She will also function as the Patient Safety Officer, ensuring a continuously improving culture of safety. She will have oversight over Mercy Health’s Kentucky region, which includes Lourdes Hospital in Paducah and Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital in Irvine, KY.
