According to the Paducah Police Department, at 12:15 am Wednesday, 40-year-old Andre L. Jackson was arrested after a Lyft driver reported suspicious activity after dropping Jackson off near Park Avenue.
The driver told officers she had dropped Jackson off in an alley when he reportedly told her to turn the headlights off and not to call police while he was inside. Officers arrived on the scene and saw Jackson coming out of the building. He reportedly fled from officers, but was arrested a short time later.
Officers say he appeared to be under the influence of drugs, and after a search, officers reportedly found methamphetamine on him. While being booked into McCracken County Jail, he allegedly threatened officers.
Jackson was arrested on charges of third-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree fleeing or evading police, public intoxication, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and resisting arrest.
