A Paducah man was arrested Saturday morning on theft charges.

About 10 am, someone reported to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department that a man was stealing metal from behind a business in the 4700 block of Noble Road. The witness told deputies that the suspect fled in a truck.

Deputies say they found the truck just down the road at a metal recycling business and 55-year-old Terry Sullenger was unloading the material. They said that Sullenger had allegedly been paid for taking a previous load to the recycling business.

Deputies arrested Sullenger, and said they discovered drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine in the truck.

Sullenger was taken to McCracken County Jail.
