Man Jailed on Meth, Pot Charges After Traffic Stop

A traffic stop Monday in McCracken County led to the arrest of a Marshall County man on methamphetamine and marijuana charges.

Just after midnight, a deputy stopped a car for traffic violations in the 1500 block of Husband Road. During the stop, the deputy searched the vehicle.

During the search, the deputy reportedly found approximately five grams of methamphetamine, as well as a small amount of marijuana.

The driver, 32-year-old Cody Lowery of Benton, was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail. He's charged with possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine.
