Kentucky’s 38,000 cattlemen and cattlewomen invite you to enjoy May as Beef Month, and the kickoff of summer grilling. Summer grilling season is knocking on our front door, and with beef, the sky is the limit on the grill. Grilling, a form of dry heat cooking, is one of the most exciting and more importantly, healthy ways to enjoy beef. To kick off the grilling season and Beef Month, the Kentucky Beef Council and The Holland Grill Company is sponsoring a Celebrate the Steak media tour from May 13-24. KY Beef Council KBC reps will be in Paducah on Wednesday, May 15th spreading the word about beef and demonstrating and sampling recipes, giving helpful tips and tricks about grilling, as well as educating consumers on all of the great nutritional advantages that beef brings to the plate. Also, KBC and The Holland Grill company have partnered together, and will be giving away a free grill. All through May, consumers have a chance for to register to win an Epic Holland Grill valued at over $850 on www.kybeef.com.
