A medical episode caused a Mayfield man to crash his car Monday morning at a local business.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded shortly before 11 a.m. to a crash at Mercy Primary Care-Reidland on Kentucky Dam Road. Deputies said 25-year-old Jordan Gourley of Mayfield was driving and lost control due to medical reasons when turning into the driveway of the business. He then struck a large sign.

Gourley was taken to Baptist Health Paducah for treatment. He was cited for not having a valid registration plate.
