McCracken Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Arrest

A traffic stop Saturday night in McCracken County led to the arrest of a Lyon County woman.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a car on John Puryear Drive for a traffic violation. Deputies identified the driver of the vehicle as 25-year-old Zhanna Amelia Craig, of Eddyville.

Upon further investigation, and a search of the vehicle deputies reportedly found a digital scale with methamphetamine on the scale. Craig was arrested, and transported to the McCracken County Jail.

She's charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, license to be in possession and failure to dim lights.
