McCracken Traffic Stop Nets Two Drug Arrests

MCCRACKEN COUNTY - On Thursday, a traffic stop in McCracken County led to the arrest of two Paducah residents on drug charges.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said deputies stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. After speaking with the occupants, 36-year-old Deantonio McGee and 24-year-old Katrina Dillworth, deputies said there was marijuana in direct site and the vehicle smelled strongly of marijuana.

A search of the vehicle reportedly uncovered marijuana, digital scales with meth residue, and 29 grams of methamphetamine.

Both McGee and Dillworth were arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

McGee is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, failure to or improper signal, operating a vehicle on a suspended license, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dillworth is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
