Paducah police recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested a Melber man in connection with the theft, on Tuesday, less than one hour after the owner reported it stolen.

Police say officers were called at 11:40 am to WAG Auto, 3034 Parker Street. An employee said a man drove off the lot in a 2010 Chrysler 300 and headed toward Irvin Cobb Drive. The car reportedly had a sticker on the back that read, “Bossy Number One Mom.”

A short time later, officers saw the car at a gas station on Bridge Street. A man matching the description of the car thief walked out of the station, saw officers, and began walking down the street.

The man was stopped at Husband Road and Bridge Street. He was identified as 37-year-old Joshua C. Goheen. The keys to the stolen vehicle were in Goheen’s pocket.

He was arrested on a charge of felony theft and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
