Those who want to walk and talk with the mayor can meet at Preferred Industries/CMI (660 Chester Hack Drive). For those who don’t want to walk or are unable to walk, meet at Grace Baptist Church (1625 Bloom Avenue). Refreshments will be served at the church, too.
The walks are designed to open communication between elected officials and residents about neighborhood beautification, parks, safety, streets, sidewalks, and other ideas.
The next walk is August 19 in Lowertown. Everyone will meet at Texaco Station (corner of 7th and Madison streets).
