Pittman received multiple injuries from the incident, and has spent time recovering at Kosair Children's Hospital and KentuckyOne Health Frazier Rehab Institute, both in Louisville.
Pittman still has a tracheotomy to assist in breathing, but family is hoping that will be removed before too long. He is eating some foods, showing emotions and still going to rehabilitation, but now he will be in his own home, just in time for Thanksgiving.
