Police are searching for a car responsible for a hit-and-run accident Sunday in McCracken County that sent one person to the hospital.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened around 11:30 am in the 11000 block of Highway 60 West. Deputies say 41-year-old Brian Griffin, of West Paducah, was eastbound when his motorcycle was rear-ended by an unknown vehicle. Griffin's motorcycle went down, and skidded off the shoulder into a ditch.

Griffin was transported by ambulance to Mercy Health for treatment of his injuries.

Griffin and a witness described the hit and run vehicle as a black, four-door Chevrolet Impala. The car was last seen traveling east on Highway 60 West.
