Multiple Car Break-Ins Reported in Paducah

The Paducah Police Department is asking for the public's help in solving a number of vehicle break-ins.

Police said a large number of break-ins occurred throughout July, generally between the 1700 and 2400 blocks of Park Avenue.

Many of the vehicles were reportedly left unlocked, and multiple firearms have been stolen.

Officers remind everyone to lock their vehicles and to hide valuables out of sight.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550. You can also provide information anonymously through West Kentucky Crime Stoppers by texting WKY and the tip to 847411, or by downloading the app "WKY Crime Stoppers" from the app store.  Information leading to an arrest or indictment could resulting a reward of up to $1,000.
