Commuters coming into Paducah from Marshall County should consider an alternate route, including exiting I-24 at exit 16 and continuing through Paducah to exits 11, 7, 4 or 3.
Both westbound lanes of I-24 are blocked at this time near the 12-mile marker, with traffic backed up for more than a mile.
One of the crashes involved three vehicles.
