No More Free Tree Seedlings at Conservation Office

The McCracken County Conservation District has been giving away free tree seedlings, but they are all gone.

The seedling giveaway is always a popular event, with supplies not lasting through the second day for several years in a row. 

Following giveways on Thursday, a spokesperson told West Kentucky Star there were enough trees left for about 100 people on Friday, and that proved to be correct. The office ran out of seedlings around noon.
