Old Mayfield Road Reopened after Crash

UPDATE: Old Mayfield Road has now be reopened following the crash earlier today.


ORIGINAL STORY:

An injury crash on Old Mayfield Road (KY 994) has both lanes blocked.

The crash happened around noon in a curve between Clarkline and Houser Roads. Witnesses on the scene say a man who was driving a pickup truck lost control in the curve and struck a tree. He was taken from the scene by ambulance.

Multiple agencies are on the scene, and the road remains closed in both directions at this time. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
