One Lane Traffic for Olivet Church Road

A contractor working on a section of Olivet Church Road in the Kentucky Oaks Mall area will be reducing traffic there to one lane.

The City of Paducah says drivers should expect traffic between Enterprise Drive and Shelldrake Lane to be temporarily stopped at times to allow the maneuvering of construction equipment.  

Drivers are being encouraged to find alternate routes as this section of the project involves the widening of Olivet Church Road to three lanes with the addition of drainage improvements and sidewalks. 

The construction phase of the Olivet Church Road Improvement Project began last June.  The project is hoped to be completed in October.
