Three people were arrested Tuesday following investigations at two local motels.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says after getting complaints, undercover detectives responded to online advertisements and made arrangements to meet with the suspected prostitutes.

Detectives say the first meeting took place at a Paducah motel, and 46-year-old LaWana F. Quertermous of Paducah was arrested. She also allegedly had crack cocaine and a smoking pipe in her possession.

At the same motel, a detective learned that a woman in another room, 29-year-old Annie Yeager of Paducah, allegedly had methamphetamine, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. She was on felony probation at the time of her arrest for previous drug crimes.

Detectives say their other arranged meeting was at a different Paducah motel. After speaking with 26-year-old Aaron J. Kelley of Paducah, he was arrested.

The Sheriff's Department says Kelley has now been arrested twice within the last two months on prostitution charges. He reportedly plead guilty to the first charge on January 29.

Quertermous faces charges of prostitution, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense - cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Yeager faces two charges of possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 3rd offense or greater - for methamphetamine and crack cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kelley faces charges of prostitution and driving with a suspended license.

All three people were taken to McCracken County Jail.
