All passengers boarding Paducah Area Transit System vehicles will now be required to wear face masks.

Paducah Public Information Officer Pam Spencer says the goal behind the policy is to provide essential transportation services to clients, while taking precautions to protect co-workers and their family during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Services will continue to be limited to one rider at a time. Vehicles will continue to be cleaned, disinfected and sanitized daily.

Residents are advised to avoid travel if they are feeling sick.
