Paducah Symphony Orchestra's Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto is this Saturday, Nov. 16th at the Carson Center in downtown Paducah.

The concert starts at 7:30 pm with Raffaele Ponti conducting and guest violinist and concertmaster David Kim performing Mendelssohn" Violin Concerta. The audience will be delighted with DVOŘÁK-Carnival Overture, MENDELSSOHN-Violin Concerto and BEACH-Gaelic Symphony.
Bohemian composer Dvořák's spirited Carnival overture lends itself to a program celebrating both the iconic and the obscure.

The Philadelphia Orchestra's own concertmaster, David Kim, returns to Paducah to perform Mendelssohn's beloved masterpiece for violin and orchestra.

Maestro Ponti conducts the first symphony composed and published by an American woman, Amy Beach's Gaelic Symphony.
