A Paducah man is facing charges after allegedly shooting at another person in an alley.

The Paducah Police Department was called after several people reported seeing a man fire three shots at another man in an alley on November 5.

Numerous people sitting in a drive-thru allegedly saw the incident and were able to identify the shooter by his first name. Officers were able to get a description of the man, and was spotted a short time later fleeing on foot.

Officers were able to catch the suspect, who was identified as 20-year-old William R. Moore, and found a handgun in a trash can nearby.

Moore is being charged with three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree fleeing or evading, and tampering with physical evidence.

Moore was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
