According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 500 block of College Avenue where a man with a gun was reportedly making threats. Upon arrival, 24-year-old Ricky Rashaan Cole of Paducah was stopped and detained.
According to deputies, Cole was found with a 9mm semi-automatic pistol in his pocket. Further investigation revealed that Cole is a convicted felon out of Tennessee.
Cole was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail. He's charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and alcohol intoxication.
