Early Tuesday morning, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office went to a home in the 6200 block of Benton Road trying to locate 36-year-old Santos "Thomas" Gonzales, who was wanted out of McCracken County. Deputies found Gonzales in a bedroom, where they placed him under arrest without incident.
While in the bedroom, deputies allegedly saw methamphetamine, marijuana and numerous items of drug paraphernalia in plain view. Gonzales was transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
He's charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also arrested on two McCracken County District Court bench warrants for failure to appear, and on a McCracken County arrest warrant for violation of EPO/DVO and 4th degree assault.
