A Paducah man faces arson and other charges after a fire Sunday night at a McCracken County motorcycle club.

The Mcracken County Sheriff's Office says a deputy on patrol saw smoke coming from Cycle Knights at around 9:30 p.m. in the area of Benton Road and Kentucky Street. Several bystanders were attempting to put out a fire that had been set to a garbage can and a chair.

After talking to witnesses, deputies located 41-year-old Tyron Travis walking down Benton Road and found him with a lighter.

Travis was arrested and charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, alcohol intoxication, third-degree arson, and third-degree terroristic threatening. He was also served with a McCracken County bench warrant for failure to appear in district court.
