Paducah Man Faces Drug, Gun Charges

An undercover drug investigation on Friday led to the arrest of a Paducah man.

The Paducah Police Department said officers arrested 29-year-old Michael Jackson Friday afternoon after finding meth on him in the parking lot of a Cairo Road business. He's charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Investigators said they also seized 23 grams of methamphetamine, assorted pills, $725 in cash, scales, plastic bags used to package methamphetamine, and two handguns during a search of Jackson's home.

Jackson was on parole for federal gun charges at the time of his arrest. He was booked into McCracken County Regional Jail. Police say more charges are pending.
