The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says a deputy spotted a car pulling into the Lone Oak Huck's Food and Fuel. According to the deputy, the driver, 28-year-old Robert Gaines II, got out of the vehicle and began to show several signs of impairment.
Gaines was placed under arrest after standard field sobriety tests were conducted. During a search of the vehicle, deputies reportedly found methamphetamine and marijuana.
Gaines was charged with DUI, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, no registration plates, failure to produce an insurance card and instructional permit violations.
