A Paducah man is facing numerous drug and other charges after a traffic stop.

On Wednesday, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office performed a traffic stop on a vehicle on Smith Avenue for an alleged traffic violation.

After stopping the vehicle, the driver was identified as 28-year-old Garrett Hinzman of Paducah. Deputies say it was determined that Hinzman had a suspended driver's license.

Hinzman is being charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) first offense, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended driver's license, disregarding a stop sign, and no registration plates.

He was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
