A Paducah man was arrested Tuesday after a police pursuit.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says deputies arrested 45-year-old Jeffery Houser after detectives saw him driving a pickup truck on Jackson Street in Paducah. The detectives were familiar with Houser, and knew he had outstanding felony arrests warrants.

The detectives followed Houser and attempted to stop and arrest him at the intersection of Old Mayfield Road and Berger Road. Houser fled, and detectives pursued him until he stopped.

Houser was booked into the McCracken County Jail on two outstanding felony warrants, one for theft and another for violation of probation. He also faces new charges of fleeing or evading police and felony theft.
