PADUCAH, KY - The law firm of Sullenger Law Office, PLLC is pleased to announce the addition of its newest associate, Ms. Michelle Williams.

Michelle has had a life-long interest in people and their motivations. She grew up in Paducah, where she graduated as salutatorian of Lone Oak High School. She then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Individual and Family Development and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky.

After graduating from college, Michelle worked in various industries. She worked as the Education and Outreach Coordinator for a women’s health clinic, as a restaurant manager, and as a front desk coordinator for an imaging company. These fields left Michelle unfulfilled, however, leading her to follow her dream of attending law school.

While in law school she served as the Vice President of the Women’s Law Caucus and was the Co-Recruiter of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. Ms. Williams was a Student Public Interest Law Foundation Scholarship Recipient for two years as well as Litigation Skills Class Best Prosecutor in the fall of 2010.

She worked as an intern for local prosecutors’ offices during summer breaks from law school. This allowed her to experience a variety of criminal matters and to learn how to handle matters heading to court. She also worked for the UK College of Law Legal Clinic, where she handled an assortment of cases for individuals needing legal help.

Michelle serves individuals in Kentucky, Illinois, and Tennessee facing family law matters -- such as divorce, prenuptial agreements, child custody, child support, and adoption, in additional to criminal charges, and litigation on behalf of individuals or small businesses.
