The City of Paducah is restricting access to all of their parks in an effort to implement social distancing.

The Paducah Parks & Recreation Department says access to the parks will be under the new restrictions until further notice and will be closing at sunset.

Several services that have gated enclosures including the dog park, the skatepark, and the Noble Park tennis and basketball courts will also be closed to the public. City staff will be putting signs up and placing caution tape around playgrounds to inform the public that access is restricted.

City officials ask the public to enjoy the Greenway Trail and open green space at the parks, while being mindful of social distancing.
