Dr. Montgomery was a native of Versailles, Kentucky.
He served as Medical Staff President at both Lourdes and Western Baptist Hospitals in the 1970s.
Montgomery is survived by his wife of 60 years, former Paducah Mayor Geraldine Biggs Montgomery, three children, and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7:00 to 10:00 pm on Thursday, November 7th, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Paducah, and also after 10:00 am on Friday, November 8th at the church. The funeral service will be at the church on Friday, beginning at 11:00 am.
