Paducah Woman Faces Meth Charge After Traffic Stop

A Wednesday traffic stop in Paducah resulted in the arrest of a Paducah woman on drug charges.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, deputies stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. A search of the vehicle revealed that the passenger, 56-year-old Cynthia Javor of Paducah, was in possession of methamphetamine and a syringe.

Javor was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was book into the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Deputies said the driver, 51-year-old Michael Overby, also of Paducah, was operating on a suspended operator’s license. He was cited for operating a vehicle with one headlight, and operating on a suspended or revoked operator's license.
