Paducah Woman Hurt in Blandville Road Crash

A Paducah woman was hurt Tuesday morning in a head-on crash on Blandville Road.

Shortly after 6:00 am Tuesday, McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to Blandville Road just west of Olivet Church Road to a report on crash with injuries.

Deputies said 84-year-old Mary Richards, of Paducah was driving west on Blandville Road when for an unknown reason she went into the opposing lane of traffic. Police said she then hit a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Leath Adams, of Wickliffe head-on.

Richards was taken to an area hospital for treatment of possible injuries. Blandville Road was closed for about 45 minutes for investigation and clean up.
