The Paducah Police Department Bicycle and Surplus Auction returns on Saturday, May 21st.

The auction will be held at the Police Department at 1400 Broadway. Registration for bidders starts at 8 am with the auction beginning at 9 am.  There is no charge to register. This is a cash only sale, and all sales are final. All items are sold “as-is.”

The Police Department will be selling 93 bicycles and  miscellaneous items including tools, cameras, televisions, laptops and tablets, DVD’s, digital cameras, GPS units, gaming systems, hunting equipment, jewelry, and much more. 

A list of all items being sold can be picked up beginning Tuesday, May 17 at the Police Department during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. A list also will be available the day of the sale. Items cannot be viewed until the morning of the sale beginning at 8 am.

The auction was last held in May 2014, raising $3,534 with the majority of the proceeds going toward the Police and Fire Pension Fund.
